Bijules is one of my favorite jewelry designers.

She makes pieces that hang, hug, clip, cut and curve. Her fashions are just so darn different. Where else can you find a gold elf ear?

Her name is Jules Kim and she believes in the value of self-expression. Her provocative pieces are more than accessories; they are a lifestyle.

Jean-Luc Godard, Milanese cobblestone paths, Bajan beaches, and city living inspire her fashions.

Current advocates of the line include some of the deepest underground acts, such as, Natasha Kahn of Bat For Lashes, Beans, MIA, Santogold and Spankrock.

Tonight only, Theatre Charlotte’s Musical Movies Series is performing the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Join the longest running theatrical release in film history and bring your fishnets, sequins, and rice.

Rocky Horror Picture Show is a 1975 British Musical Comedy film that parodies science fiction and B-movie horror films. This cult classic gained notoriety as a midnight movie in 1977, when audiences began participating in film theaters across the United States.

In Charlotte, luckily, the show starts at 9:00.

The Poster Cause Project and Niche bring you the 1st Annual Charity Party and Print Signing with Dalek. If you don’t know Dalek, he’s an amazing contemporary artist and he will be at the party signing prints for charity. All profits from the Dalek prints go to “Murder Through The Eyes Of A Child”, a documentary about the high murder rate in New Orleans and it’s horrible effect on children.

Betsey Johnson For Opening Ceremony

In celebration of the 30th anniversary of her label, Betsey Johnson has partnered with Opening Ceremony to resurrect a selection of her classic archived looks.

Silhouettes such as high-wasted knitted shorts, fur coats with exposed zippers, and peplums are what consists of her 35 piece collection. The line is very synonymous with Alley Cat, and Paraphernalia, which in the 60’s was where she made her roots.

The Original Penguin is looking for real people to feature in their upcoming ad campaign.

Penguin’s team of experts will be selecting finalists and posting their choices on the Penguin Website.

After that, its up to the voters to decide on the lucky pair. If they win, they will receive 2 plane tickets, a hotel stay in New York City, and appear in the Fall/Winter 2010 Ad Campaign.

Go ahead, send the Original Penguin some snap shots of ya… you never know…

After much anticipation, its finally here! We have to wait until March 7 to take these eclectic pieces home, but for now feel free to crush away at the collection.

This collection will be the third designer in a series of Designer Collaborations, a unique program that features well-established designers. Ranging in price from $17.99 -$199.99, this line of seasonal, affordable must-haves include high-waisted pants and shorts, mini skirts, strong-shoulder jackets, cropped tanks and swimwear. (I love the one-piece suit!)

The Shop On Wheels — a mobile Cynthia Rowley store — is kicking off its cross country tour with four days at Phipps Plaza in Atlanta, beginning this Thursday, February 25 through Sunday, February 28. Shop for clothes, shoes, bags, jewelry, sunglasses, tights, gifts and much more in their cute mobile trunk.

The Shop on Wheels will be parked near the AMC entrance at Phipps Plaza. 10 AM - 7 PM, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. 12 noon - 5:30 PM on Sunday.
